These batteries will never find their way to consumers in the US, which has surrounded itself with an impenetrable wall of tariffs designed to fend off the Yellow Peril by keeping Chinese cars out of the hands of Americans. As a result, the rest of the world will be driving long-range electric cars while Americans trundle along in the slow lane driving outmoded cars with obsolete technology.
