Capacity Benchmarking Tool for Nonprofit Leaders

Improving capacity an organization’s ability to carry out its mission has become a “hot topic” for many nonprofit leaders and funders. Increasingly, private and public funders are encouraging nonprofit leaders to: (1) assess their organizations’ capacity, (2) identify priorities for capacity improvement, and (3) design and implement capacity building strategies.

New and emerging nonprofit organizations who want to work toward greater stability and effectiveness can now have access to a new "Capacity Benchmarking Tool". Staff and board leaders can use this new "Capacity Benchmarking Tool" to establish priorities for strengthening an organization’s infrastructure and identify the most important next steps needed to build capacity. This tool can be re-used to track progress and focus the organization on achieving new capacities
