Butte’s hospitality impresses International Association of Fire Fighters Motorcycle Group rally

They came rolling into Butte Monday dusty, hot and thirsty.

Some riders, like Chris Prickett, already put more than 1,000 miles of asphalt behind him before arriving for the International Association of Fire Fighters Motorcycle Group rally, slated Monday through Thursday.

Prickett, a retired firefighter, left Eatonton, Ga., on Aug. 4 on his Harley-Davidson.

"We took our time and stopped along the way to snap pictures and see the sights," he said in an easy-going southern drawl.
