“It’s really humbling but also rewarding to see how little the small role that I personally play in this is,” said Peter Roos, company president, CEO, and co-founder. “Our whole crew knows that our mission is to make emissions reduction simple for the oil and gas community.”

Bridger Photonics does this by attaching proprietary laser sensors to aircraft, which they fly over oil and gas infrastructure throughout the entire natural gas supply chain.

“We don’t sell the equipment, we sell the data it produces,” Roos said. “It pinpoints and images and quantifies every important emission in their infrastructure. That makes it so simple for them to just go right to the source and address that source of emission.”

Roos said this technology creates a massive win-win both for the industry and the environment.
