Bozeman allocates tax money to workforce housing project

A massive housing project on North 7th Avenue will get over $3 million of tax increment money after Bozeman city commissioners approved the allocation this week.

The 7th and Aspen project is proposed on North 7th Avenue, just south of its intersection with Aspen Street. The project site is home to three vacant buildings: the former Midtown Tavern, Aaron’s Furniture and an old house that has been used as an office.
