Billings looks to scrap its ethics ordinances in favor of a statewide standard

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

The new system, which must still be developed, will feature the Yellowstone County Attorney’s office investigating ethics complaints, rather than the city’s Ethics Board.
