Bill approved by North Dakota House would establish state Office of Entrepreneurship – How About Your State?
March 11, 2025/
Warrey’s bill has received support from Right to Start, a national nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that works to expand entrepreneurial opportunities.
If the bill is ultimately approved, it would create an Office of Entrepreneurship within the Department of Commerce and be tasked with strengthening policies and programs supporting the growth of entrepreneurship in the state.
The language of the bill says the office would:
- Work with stakeholders and organizations supporting entrepreneurship to enhance the learning and skills of entrepreneurs
- Provide technical support to entrepreneurs
- Expand access to resources for entrepreneurs
