April 2025 MMEC Manufacturing News

MMEC

Let’s face it – 2025 is off to a wild start. Whatever we thought might happen in the new year, I doubt any of us foresaw the magnitude or speed of some of the changes taking place in government, in global affairs, or in the economy.

As a manufacturer, there’s a good chance that you’re trying to pivot some aspect of your operations to tackle a sudden new challenge or take advantage of an unexpected opportunity.  It’s a good time to remind you that MMEC is here to help.

For nearly 30 years, we’ve worked to grow and refine our programs so that we can assist you with a broad range of needs.  Maybe you just think of us as “that place that teaches Lean manufacturing” or “those ISO consultants who prepare you for audits.”  But did you know you can also call us if you want help or guidance to:

  • Upskill your employees for new responsibilities?
  • Create a strategic plan to prepare your business for a new product or market?
  • Assess and strengthen your company’s financials?
  • Design a facility layout or pick out automation equipment to optimize your production capacity?
  • Get up to date on the packaging, labeling, or safety requirements for your food products?
  • Find a domestic supplier to minimize tariff effects?
  • Find new customers and markets to make up for loss of foreign sales?

These are just a few examples of assistance we can either provide directly or connect you to quickly. And if you’re not sure how we can help, reach out to one of our Business Advisors. They have years of private sector manufacturing experience and first-hand experience guiding companies through similar times of rapid change and uncertainty. Meet our team members and find one near you here.
