Accelerate Montana September Announcements

I wanted to highlight two opportunities from Accelerate Montana that you or someone you may know may be excited to take advantage of:

• The Pursue Your Passions (PYP) program for women looking to explore business ideas or career growth, has two upcoming, online courses which you can sign up for. PYP strives to create environments where women share their ideas out loud. These courses are designed for women, but open to all. The upcoming courses are:
• • Pursue Your Passions Introductory Course, taught by GAP Inc.’s Senior Director of Change Management and UM Alum, Stacy Maloney.
  • Business Basics I, taught by Karen Tempkin, MBA certified in sustainability.
• Next, three Accelerate Montana programs (Blackstone LaunchPad, Accelerate Montana’s Rural Innovation Initiative, and PYP) are working together with money funded by the EDA to support current or aspiring women business owners during the pandemic. We are looking for instructors for some of these courses so please visit the Accelerate Montana website for more information as it rolls out.

As always, we are here to support you, and all aspiring or current business owners, to navigate the pandemic and the entrepreneurial journey! Blackstone LaunchPad continues to offer venture/business coaching from idea stage to established businesses, the Missoula SBDC has coronavirus specific advisors on staff right now for existing businesses, and Missoula PTAC as well as the Montana World Trade Center are still supporting a lot of business looking to grow into a government marketplace or outside the U.S.
