| VentureCapital.org is seeking an experienced leader to assume responsibility as its full-time Chief Executive Officer. Accepting this role for the oldest and most successful venture accelerator in the world includes setting the direction for the next 10+ years and expanding it across the United State and beyond. Job Description Position Chief Executive Officer Reports To Board of Directors Position Overview The Board of Trustees is interested in hiring a dedicated visionary seeking meaningful work with the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of thousands of entrepreneurs. You will have responsibility to create, develop and manage short and long-term strategies in an exciting entrepreneurial environment. As the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead the executive management team to enhance its rich legacy and a deep network to assist high-technology, high impact ventures prepare to raise capital. More specifically, you will: · Provide inspiring leadership throughout the organization and to its stakeholders · Analyze the history of the organization and develop and modify its strategic plan · Use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions on short and long-term organizational strategies that are measurable and impactful · Create, communicate and implement the organizations vision, mission and overall direction · Supervise the complete operation of the organization in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plan and guidance from the Board of Directors · Oversee and manage the organization’s fiscal activity including primary responsibility for fundraising, budgeting, reporting and auditing · Model and set the organization’s culture, values and behavior · Create an environment that promotes high performance and positive morale · Advocate and promote organizational change related to mission · Lead organizational growth throughout the United State and beyond · Act as the primary spokesperson for the organization Position Qualifications · Significant executive experience (non-profit knowledge and experience helpful) · Strong business acumen with proven leadership ability and strategic mindset · Understanding of entrepreneurship and fundraising process · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Strong financial management background · Highly organized · Ability to generate and analyze data · An MBA or applicable Master’s degree from an accredited four-year College or University If you or someone you know is interested, please email a resume to Brandon Stoddard at [email protected].
