Board votes to disband Missoula Area Economic Development Corp.

The Missoula Area Economic Development Corp. http://www.maedc.org is disbanding.

The nonprofit economic development organization’s board passed a voluntary dissolution motion Thursday, starting the process.

Despite strong emotions over the decision, all 16 board members present voted in favor of the plan, said Tim Descamps, MAEDC’s board chairman.
