Montana Economic summit can be summarized succinctly – Education is key

Gates also made the first of many compelling arguments on the value of and need for high-quality education at all levels.

This is a familiar message that has run through all of these events, and we agree that, more than any of the other themes, high-quality education holds the key to Montana’s future.

"We need to rededicate ourselves to education, to measuring the quality of education," Gates said. "We need to be far more engaged."
