Global Digital Solutions moving to Cd’A, ID
A California company plans to move to downtown Coeur d’Alene later this year.
Marcus Vegh, CEO of Global Digital Solutions, said Tuesday the firm is moving its international headquarters from Laguna Hills and plans to hire five employees.

Vegh will bring two employees with him.
"We’re excited about the opportunities there in the Northwest to expand some business and continue to serve our existing clients," he said.
Global Digital Solutions has been in business since 1999 and has produced various advanced media training projects in 28 languages.
Its areas of service include script development, audio and video production and post-production, animation, graphic design and Web applications.
"We serve clients around the world," Vegh said. "We don’t really do any walk-in business per se."
Vegh said he had been considering moving the company from Orange County for some time. He researched other sites in Virginia, Colorado, Arkansas and North Carolina before settling on Coeur d’Alene.
"It’s the prettiest place in America to live," he said. "We are a family oriented company with strong traditional values and Coeur d’Alene will provide a wonderful place for our employees to raise their kids."
Vegh said he is still working on a lease agreement on an exact location in Coeur d’Alene for Global’s headquarters, but it will be downtown.
He said Rick Carr, former president of Jobs Plus, was "instrumental in actually helping to arrange everything and making it very easy for the decision to be made to come up there, that’s for sure."
Vegh expects to hire five new employees by the end of the first quarter 2004. The jobs will include a graphic artist, nonlinear video editor, audio engineer, script writer and an accountant.
Vegh and his wife Debbie have already bought a home in Coeur d’Alene and plan to move here soon with their three children.
"I’ll get my kids started in school and be managing from a distance for a while," he said.
