Promising Choteau-area work halts due to low oil prices

"(Teton County officials) were looking at the impact of a possible oil boom on the module assembly yards in our county with both anxiety and anticipation, but then it petered out for now," Teton County Commissioner Jim Hodgskiss said. "Over our history, agriculture is what drives the Teton County economy. We always hope something big will come along to supplement the local economy and create more jobs, but we’ve learned not to get our hopes up too high."
