GFDA Top 13 for August 11, 2015

Here’s the GFDA Top 13 for last week, celebrating great things happening to move Great Falls Forward.

1) We published our first agricultural processing business case that details the market factors making the Great Falls region a competitive location for Pulse Fractionation manufacturing facilities. To get a copy of the business case, contact Rebecca Engum at 1-406-771-9032 or [email protected].

2) Our Brownfields property clean-up and redevelopment efforts have earned us the Phoenix Award for EPA Region 8. "The Phoenix Awards inspire and recognize exemplary brownfield redevelopment and revitalization. Winning projects offer a fresh take on significant environmental issues, show innovation and demonstrate masterful community impact." The award will be presented at the National Brownfields Conference next month in Chicago.

3) First People Buffalo Jump State Park in Ulm was officially designated a national historic landmark, adding another boost to the region’s cultural tourism offerings. Congratulations to all involved in this 5 year effort.
