EcoStar Awards honor Montana companies for pollution prevention

In celebration of national Pollution Prevention Week, Montana State University Extension is recognizing 24 commercial enterprises and nonprofit organizations from communities across Montana as EcoStar Award winners for their pollution prevention efforts.

The EcoStar Awards Program, now in its 14th year, recognizes efforts that are helping create more environmentally and economically sustainable communities by surpassing state and federal requirements to reduce solid and hazardous waste.
