Missoula-based Montainer helping simplify life by taking a different apporoach to building homes.

In an age where bigger is often considered better, one Missoula company is showing that less really can be more.

"That’s one thing I love about it, because people have such huge homes and they spend all their time inside, they buy all these things. Just downsizing, it’s wonderful! I’ve always been big on this; I like living practically I guess," Missoula resident Jornad Neilson said.

Montainer https://www.facebook.com/Montainers is a new Missoula company that takes a different approach to building homes. The company recycles shipping containers into 200 square foot living spaces. The homes come fully furnished with a hide-a-bed, mini refrigerator, and a washing machine dryer combo.
