Montana Career Opportunities – Product Manager-Tax, Marketing Director, Marketing Research & Social Media Analyst, Controller, Senior Web Developer – Western CPE

These openings are a result of Company growth, internal promotions and changes being made to move the Company to the next level. These positions are at the Company’s headquarters located in Bozeman, Montana.

1. Product Manager, Tax – This high-level position will be responsible for all aspects of the Company’s Tax products from curriculum selection through product fulfillment. This includes the Company’s premier Federal Tax Update. The tax products are sold at Resort Conferences, On-Site Tax Conferences, Webcasts and Self-Study. The candidate must be a CPA with a minimum of 10 years of hands on experience preparing taxes and advising clients on tax matters. The ideal candidate will have experience developing tax curriculum.

2. Marketing Director – This position oversees all aspects of the Company’s marketing efforts. The candidate must have over 10 years of experience in the service industry with experience in consumer direct mail, email and social media. The candidate must have managerial experience directing the creative, project management and market research activities. Ideally, the candidate will have worked in the publishing or educational markets.

3. Marketing Research & Social Media Analyst – This position is responsible for market research and use of social media. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a market research analyst and knowledge of how social media can be used to improve a company’s marketing effectiveness.

4. Controller – This position oversees all the accounting, financial reporting and budgeting for the Company. The candidate needs a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or equivalent industry experience. This position requires a CPA who is hands on and has a thorough knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting. The ideal candidate will be very proficient with QuickBooks and Excel.

5. Senior Web Developer – The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years practical programming experience. The web developer will be responsible for designing, developing, delivering and implementing data-driven desktop and web applications and assist in the development and maintenance of company web applications. The candidate must be able to manage time and milestones effectively, be self-motivated, work and communicate effectively. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
