Billings man stitches together durable bag, backpack business – Willie Gear
January 16, 2014 /
Starting a business in your parents’ spare bedroom has its drawbacks, but there’s no arguing with the low operating cost. That’s important to Matt Freeck, 28, as he has funded his Billings-based Willie Gear http://williegear.com/ business entirely with cash.
"I’ve worked countless side jobs to fund labels and the sewing machine to make everything happen," he said. "This year I finally broke even for the first time. It wasn’t much, but still."
