If a disaster struck tomorrow, and you couldn’t get into your offices ? what would you do to continue to work on your mission? Nobody likes to imagine worst case scenarios, but the fact is unexpected disasters ? large and small ? are a part of life. What if an office fire struck next door and made your office unusable or your water sprinklers were accidentally triggered? Both of those scenarios actually happened to organizations here in the Flathead.

Please RSVP to [email protected] or 406/756-3618 to ensure enough seating and handouts.

This workshop will ask you to consider the following questions:

* What would happen if your place of business was inaccessible for more than a few hours?

* What should you do before, during, and after a disaster? What kinds of plans should you have in place?

* How would the people that you serve be affected by a disaster? Can your organization do anything to help them prepare?

* What are some potential disaster scenarios facing Flathead County?
