Great Falls has the shortest average commute of any city in the nation, according to a report released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau.
At 14.2 minutes, the average time drivers spend getting to work in Great Falls is 20 minutes less than the average commute in New York City, which ranks as the longest in the nation at 34.6 minutes.
