Sidney’s facility is one of only two Agricultural Research Service labs in the state, both of which are
celebrating building projects the same weekend.
While Sidney is dedicating its new facility, the Fort Keogh Livestock and Range Research Laboratory in
Miles City, will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its planned new addition Friday. Those festivities will
include a field day tour beginning at 4 p.m., followed by the groundbreaking ceremony at 6 p.m. for a $4.3
million remodeling and expansion for the facility.

Following the Sidney program, the day’s events will include poster presentations and plant and animal
exhibits relating to Lewis and Clark’s journey through the MonDak region during their 1804-1806 expedition.
