University of Montana seeking $19.75 million in federal earmarks for fiscal year 2011

The University of Montana http://www.umt.edu is seeking $19.75 million in federal earmarks in fiscal year 2011 for new and ongoing research projects.
Six of the nine funding requests – about $16.4 million – would fund new research projects. The rest would continue ongoing projects.
All of Montana’s colleges and universities are presenting their requests to the Board of Regents this week in Helena. In total, the Montana University System is seeking $71 million in congressional earmarks.
