Project: Information Technologies for Tribal Colleges
The American Indian Higher Education Consortium is pursuing a High
Performance Computing Initiative to take advantage of the latest in
technological developments for all of Indian country. In partnership with
institutions within NCSA and NPACI, tribal colleges will be given the
opportunity to participate in the latest advances in high performance
computing and Internet developments.

The long range goal of this initiative
is to effect permanent change in the socio-economic fabric of Indian
communities and allow them to craft their own solutions as they participate
in the opportunities afforded by the coming Information Revolution.
