Ten months ago, Jim Palmer Trucking http://www.jimpalmertrucking.com/ , a Missoula-based national trucking company, was staring down the barrel of bankruptcy.

Creditors were knocking on its door threatening to repossess a fourth of the company’s trucking fleet, gas prices had skyrocketed, and the nation’s recession was starting to create havoc with hauling contracts.

It was, perhaps, the ugliest time in the company’s long history.
