NASA works with girls-in-science event in Billings, Montana

Tony Leavitt isn’t exactly a chick in science.

He’s a self-described "astronaut wannabe" and former high school teacher who works with NASA. He helps teachers and students – including "chicks" – get excited about science.

Leavitt is landing in Billings today to take part in science-based events with Montana State University Billings. Leavitt will give two workshops to teachers today night at MSU Billings through the university’s Educators on Campus program. On Saturday, he will have a booth at the Chicks in Science event at Alterowitz Gym.
