Wyoming Coal Gasification plant may have a home

The Campbell County Economic Development Corp. has selected a potential site for the first Wyoming gasification plant and is finalizing its proposal to entice the University of Wyoming and General Electric to put the project in Campbell County.

The agency didn’t disclose the location of the site because of proprietary information, but Robert Palmer, Campbell County director of administrative services, said that the site “is closer to Gillette than it is to Wright.”
