Cutthroat Communications, Inc. challenges Bozeman businesses to participate in Close-Up, a Bozeman Senior High School field trip

Bozeman, MT-February 15, 2002-Cutthroat Communications, Inc. has recently donated $1000 to Close-Up, a program that allows high-school students to travel to Washington DC on an educational tour.

On March 24, Bozeman High students, along with their government teacher, will fly to Washington DC to meet many other high-school students. There, they will partake in activities that allow them to learn first-hand about our Nation’s capital, including its history, as well as its current operations. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to visit with legislators and lobbyists to gain in-depth understanding of the US government.

This year only three Bozeman High students have the opportunity to participate in the Close-Up program, partly because of recent world events, but largely because of the lack of finances.

Cutthroat Communications, Inc. has donated $1000 to be used for these students and future students to be able to participate in this invaluable event. The Company poses a challenge to all other Bozeman businesses to match their donation, or to simply donate whatever they can afford. Any money that is not used this year will be invested for next year’s students.

Bill Stoddart, Bozeman High’s government teacher, says, "This challenge is a very effective way to allow students to participate in an tremendous educational experience."
