Climate change focus of Wheeler Center conference in Bozeman, Montana

Driven by a fear of a warming world, many novel ideas are being floated for how Montana’s energy portfolio should look in the coming decades.

But with the shifting portfolio comes divisive questions: should food be turned into fuel? Should fossil fuels, especially coal, be part of the energy equation moving into the 21st century?

More than 20 speakers will tackle these questions and others Monday and Tuesday at Montana State University at a program sponsored by the Burton K. Wheeler Center, a roster of experts the center’s director is billing as the most talented ever assembled by the MSU group.
