Business planning earns cash award in Idaho University competition

A University of Idaho student from Coeur d’Alene was part of a team who shared a $3,000 award in a business plan competition on April 26.
Second place in the innovative ventures track of the competition was awarded to DLP Industries for their work with the Spa Swing, a hot tub accessory. Team members Stacey Orland, a senior in marketing from Coeur d’Alene, Ben Harp, a senior in marketing from Boise, and Branden Bates, a senior in chemical engineering from Moscow, won the prize in the Vandal Innovation and Enterprise Works (VIEW) program.
