Seattle biotechs develop ties with counterparts down under

The Australian accent has become increasingly familiar to Seattle’s biotechnology work force as researchers and officials share research and rack up frequent flier miles between Queensland and Washington as part of a government-endorsed trade alliance. And as the ties grow stronger, officials say, even public-school children will be making friends down under through their math and science curriculums.
