ISU professor leading effort to improve GPS precision

Getting one’s coordinates down to the centimeter is vital to farmers, policemen, firemen, land surveyors and more, said an Idaho State University professor who’s leading a movement to install a real time GPS network in Idaho. Maher Wissa, associate professor of Geomatics Technology at Idaho State University, said a more accurate GPS (Global Positioning System) network could have multiple benefits.
