Montana gets low grade for school tech use

Later this month, eighth-graders throughout Montana will take a survey checking their technological literacy.

The results will likely clash with a recent national review of school technology policy and practice.

The journal Education Week’s annual “Technology Counts” report gave Montana a C-minus overall, including an F for “capacity to use technology” and a D-plus for “use of technology.”
