Avmax has landed in Great Falls, Montana.

A Calgary-based aviation company is making significant progress on its plan to establish an aircraft maintenance facility in Great Falls.

Just a month after the company, Avmax http://www.avmax.ca/ , announced its expansion, a $1.2 million renovation of a World War II vintage hangar at Great Falls International Airport is moving along rapidly, says Gary Graham, Avmax vice president for corporate development.

“Sletten Construction workers are all over the project, like ants in an ant hill,” Graham said.

“A lot of unknowns can crop up when you’re renovating an older facility,” he added. “But the Sletten crew, with help from airport authority officials, has been quick to react and take care of things.”
