Would your community like to have an opportunity to increase its visibility nationwide to companies interested in moving to or expanding into Montana?

The Fall 2004 CoreNet Global Summit will be held November 6-10 in San Antonio, Texas. Interested communities and regional development organizations are encouraged to participate in a group effort to represent all regions of Montana. This is an opportunity to increase our state’s visibility and share the many positive resources Montana has to offer with more than 3,000 corporate real estate professionals. (See CoreNet’s website at http://www.corenetglobal.org for more information.)

In order to maximize our exposure at the CoreNet Global Summit, we would like to sponsor an EXPO Networking Reception during the Summit on Monday, November 8. This two-hour reception is expected to have approximately 2,500 attendees. Sponsorship includes: an opportunity to network with attendees by welcoming guests as they arrive; a promotional message for the group in the Summit Guide under the Sponsor section; each partner listed in the Attendee Directory; signage; pre- and post-conference attendee lists for marketing efforts; two full access conference badges; and the opportunity to distribute a gift and promotional material. As a group we would need to purchase a gift and produce literature for distribution. In order to adequately work this reception, we anticipate needing six to eight people.

In the past, economic development organizations statewide have joined together to represent Montana at CoreNet. It has been suggested this year that communities and regional development organizations be included to promote more statewide representation. Butte Local Development Corporation, Governor’s Economic Opportunity Office, Great Falls Development Authority, Inc., and Missoula Economic Development have already committed to participate and will contribute up to $4,000 each. In the spirit of additional participation, we would ask communities and regional development organizations to contribute approximately $2,000. The final number of participants will determine the final contribution amount for each participant. Costs for the sponsorship, gift, additional badges, and literature would be shared as a group. This is included in the Preliminary Budget below:

Preliminary Budget

Sponsorship $7,500

Gift (2,500 @ $5 each) $12,500

EXPO only conference badge ($295 each) to be determined

Literature to be determined

TOTAL: $20,000

Individual participants will be responsible for his or her registration fee, purchase of a matching team shirt, airfare, hotel, meals, and miscellaneous expenses.
