INEEL joins lab to study Earth issues

An agreement between two national labs is expected to provide answers to some critical issues facing those who study the ground below us.

The Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in California have joined to create the Consortium for Research on the Earth’s Subsurface. The group will study problems such as the availability of safe and adequate water supplies to support a growing standard of living.
