Senator Tester says small communities should “reach out” and start planning infrastructure projects

“This money is going to flow through traditional mechanisms they’ve been using forever. So, I would get in contact with the folks with the Revolving Water Fund if you’ve got sewer and water needs. I’d get in contact with the Montana Department of Transportation if you’ve got highway and bridge needs. And just go down the list. And the end results going to be pretty good projects. And the reason is because this bill’s going to be over five years.” – Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT)

Montana West Economic Development is launching a new cohort of PeerSpectives, a unique business development initiative.

PeerSpectives is a roundtable system designed especially for leaders of second-stage companies.

Energy and Climate Change

  • Today’s TED Talk – Dear world leaders, these are our climate demands

Investing in green energy, holding large corporations accountable for their pollution, stopping pipeline and oil extraction initiatives — these are non-negotiable actions to protect the planet, but they are still just the bare minimum, say climate activists Xiye Bastida and Shiv Soin. In conversation with radio researcher Latif Nasser, Bastida and Soin share their list of six crucial climate demands for world leaders — and discuss how we all can get involved.
