The future of electric vehicle charging? Tech company tests roads for wireless charging

Off the coast of Sweden on Gotland Island, a road powers and charges an electric bus on the go – wirelessly. The technology was created by Tel Aviv-based Electreon, where they are turning streets into charging pads. It is currently being tested in Sweden, Italy, Germany, and soon on a one-mile stretch in Detroit.
