NorthWestern Energy defends its energy efficiency programs

Recently, a Missoula architect published an opinion in the IR ("Energy efficiency program needs improvements," Nov. 14 http://helenair.com/news/opinion/energy-efficiency-program-needs-improvements/article_91ad628c-0e90-11e1-824c-001cc4c002e0.html ) about NorthWestern Energy’s energy efficiency programs. While we share Mr. Lane’s support and emphasis on the importance of energy efficiency, we need to correct some mischaracterizations of the programs and process.
