Nationally Known Math & Science Academy Wants Montana Teachers To Attend

"Phil and Amy Mickelson have developed a program with {National Science Teachers Association} and Exxonmobil to increase knowledge for teachers on math and science," says Great Falls Educator Jon Konen, "The biggest thing they focus on is inquiry and problem solving and try to connect and integrate Math and Science together with teachers and students. They don’t know whether they are doing Math or Science, its all integrated together in a hands-on and the kids really get involved in it and have fun."

The deadline to apply is this Sunday. The academy is only for teachers in the Third through Fifth grade level and if you are interested in the program, click here to apply . If selected, the program pays all costs for you to attend the week-long session in New Jersey.
