Headquartered in Missoula, Montana and named after the Blackfoot River, we have more than 65 years of history in creating strong connections.

• Connecting homes. Blackfoot Communications delivers residential services, including voice, broadband and fiber-based connectivity to homes in Western Montana and Eastern Idaho. We are currently working on a multi-year, multi-million dollar fiber upgrade project to bring fiber to homes and businesses throughout our rural communities. We began as a cooperative and those roots remain; customers who live in Western Montana and purchase services from Blackfoot are members of our cooperative and part-owners in the company.
• Connecting businesses. Blackfoot reliably connects businesses of all sizes throughout the Pacific Northwest using the latest technology in voice, network and managed services. With a focus on strong connections, we also provide dedicated account management. Our goal is to get to know our clients so we can help identify pain points and advise on the best solution. Through our Blackfoot Carrier Services business unit, we offer wholesale managed services to peer telecoms. We also deliver carrier services that provide the fiber backbone for some of the region’s largest cellular providers.
• Connecting communities. When it comes to connections, it’s the the personal ones that really matter the most. And as your caring neighbor, Blackfoot shows our support by giving back to local organizations, causes, schools and in other ways that truly matter to our communities.
