Cynthia Rollins lived in San Francisco for six years and had no plans to move.

“I love San Francisco,” she said. “It’s amazing.”

But her desire to travel forced her to re-evaluate. She wanted to live somewhere affordable, where she could save money and use the spare change to explore the world.

She found that place in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After researching a series of programs, Rollins settled on the ongoing Tulsa Remote, which encourages remote workers to move to the Oklahoma city with a series of incentives, including a $10,000 grant.
