As a means to connect the research and impact of University of Montana with the larger Missoula community, VBX has launched what is calling the Keginar lecture series. What is a Keginar, one might ask? It is one part seminar, one part beer, and completely Missoula.
The VBX Keginar series takes place Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm at the new CoBuild Montana Center at 125 1/2 W Main St., Missoula (alley behind the Rhino and Top Hat). This Thursday’s Keginar series will feature “What Comes After the Transformer?” This discussion will focus on the current limitations of AI frontier models and what is now being developed as part of the next wave of models. The session will feature a short presentation from University of Montana Assistant Professor Lucy Owen on her recently published paper Understanding Creativity Across Brains and Machines Through the GEEC Framework.
