The Pulp
Matthew Frank is the co-founder and publisher of The Pulp, an independent nonprofit news organization covering Missoula and western Montana, which won LION Publishers’ New Business of the Year award in 2024. He leads business operations, fundraising and strategy, and brings nearly two decades of journalism experience, including as senior staff writer and associate editor at the Missoula Independent. He launched The Pulp in 2023 alongside longtime Indy arts editor Erika Fredrickson.
