2014 SBDC Invest in Success – Call for Presenters

The Montana SBDC Network is requesting proposals for breakout sessions at the Invest in Success conference on April 24.

The Montana Small Business Development Center Network (SBDC) organizes an annual small business conference that is designed to provide small business owners and entrepreneurs in Montana the opportunity to obtain relevant business knowledge and enhance their financial, managerial and technical skills through workshops and seminars. Invest in Success is a two-day conference that includes local business tours, a networking reception, a renowned keynote speaker and multiple breakout sessions.

The 2014 Invest in Success Conference will be held April 23 and 24 at the Montana Tech HPER Complex in Butte, Montana. Last year’s conference, also in Butte, surpassed expectations and attracted over 200+ small business owners and entrepreneurs.

The conference continues to focus on leading businesses into the future with relevant, on-trend sessions that will benefit their business tomorrow.

The Montana SBDC Network is requesting proposals for breakout sessions at the Invest in Success conference on April 24. This year, the conference will offer four separate training tracks: Marketing and IT Technology, Financial Management, Human Resources and Business Start Up. Attendees can choose which sessions to attend throughout the day. Various industries and skill levels will be represented. Breakout sessions generally average 20 – 45 attendees.

The SBDC Network is interested in proposals for workshops topics addressing:

IT/Technology – Using YouTube, Successful Blogging for Business, Twitter, Social Media, Web Development

Financial Management/Tools

Hiring your next employee, Bridging the generational gap in business, Managing Employees

Manufacturing -Lean-Performance-Business to Business

Getting Started in Business
