MCDC to receive $175K operating grant

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

The USDA Rural Development will present Montana Cooperative Development Center with a a grant for $175,000 today.

The grant funds awarded to MCDC will allow the organization to continue to provide business development and technical assistance to individual groups across the state.

The Montana Cooperative Development Center is a statewide nonprofit organization the purpose of which is to promote, develop and improve all types of cooperatives businesses, through education, training and technical assistance in order to improve the economic and community conditions of rural Montana.
