Big Sky Economic Development Trust Fund awards grants to develop bio-mass plant, Pizazz cooking school in Great Falls, Montana

A company looking at building a bio-mass plant in Great Falls and a downtown specialty shop are two recipients of grants from the Big Sky Economic Development Trust Fund http://bstf.mt.gov/default.mcpx .

Idaho-based Demter Bio-Resources is exploring the possibility of building a plant to produce food ingredients, energy, fuel and organic fertilizer from feed barley and tuber crops, such as potatoes.

The company secured a $26,250 grant to conduct two market studies and assist with a pilot plant.
