Gov. Bill Haslam launches Startup Tennessee, statewide program to boost entrepreneurship

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

Affirming his support for entrepreneurship and promising to creating a healthier climate for early-stage businesses across the state, Gov. Bill Haslam on Tuesday announced the launch of Startup Tennessee.

Startup Tennessee is a public/private sector program designed to connect entrepreneurial resources throughout the state and strengthen high-growth, early-stage companies. The initiative will link business incubators and accelerators across Tennessee and include information on programming, mentoring and funding.
