Senator Max Baucus Announces Montana Economic Development Summit to Air on Bresnan Channels

Montana’s senior U.S. Senator Max Baucus announced today a partnership with Bresnan to broadcast the 5th Montana Economic Summit beginning next week.

"This was our biggest jobs summit ever, with over 2,000 people in attendance and many more watching through video streaming online. Now, thanks to Bresnan, even more Montanans will have the chance to see and hear highlights from this groundbreaking event," said Baucus. "Some of the most influential leaders in global business were with us in Butte to share ideas and reinforce Montana’s economic potential. It’s a message that’s sure to inspire job creation on many levels, from tourism to energy development and many areas in between."

As a sponsor of the summit, Bresnan will air the Montana Economic Development Summit in two parts on The Big Sky Channel.* The schedule is as follows:

* Part 1 (Events from September 13th) will air Friday, September 17th from 7pm – 11pm.

* Part 2 (Events from September 14th) will air Saturday, September 18th from 7pm – 11pm.

* This same schedule will air the following week (Fri & Sat, 24th & 25th ) at the same times.

This schedule will be identical in all Montana markets (Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Great Falls, Helena, Kalispell & Missoula).

In addition, the summit will be available on Bresnan’s Video on Demand** platform beginning Saturday, September 18th, 2010 which is located on Channel 1 under the category called "theSPOT."
