DESCRIPTION:Code Girls United to Host Meaningful Community Discussion\, Silent Auction\, Raffle \n“Our Youth in the Age of AI” event on Aug. 27 \nCode Girls United (CGU) is proud to announce its upcoming event\, “Our Youth in the Age of AI”\, an interactive reception and panel discussion scheduled for Thursday\, August 27\, 2026\, at the O’Shaughnessy Cultural Arts Center in Whitefish\, at 5 p.m. \n“This event serves as a platform for meaningful dialogue between a current industry leader and the\nstudents who will soon lead those same industries\,” said Marianne Smith\, Code Girls United CEO.\n“By bringing these perspectives together\, we hope to foster a community-wide understanding of AI’s\nrole in our children’s education and future careers.” \nThe event begins with a reception and interactive showcase\, followed by the discussion panel at 6\np.m. In a community-centered approach\, the panel will address questions submitted by the public\nthrough the event’s ticket purchase link\, ensuring the conversation reflects local interests and\nconcerns regarding technology’s future. \nGuests are invited to enjoy casual bites and beverages while exploring student-led display tables\nfeaturing the CGU AI Academy\, CGU afterschool program and award-winning student apps.\nAttendees may also participate in a silent auction and purchase raffle tickets for prizes valued at up to\n$1\,200. Event tickets are $20 and will be sold in advance only.
